Omg Diana! That work is really thinking out of the box.. Amazing and you have really done it so well..

superbly painted and superb perspective

Unusual challenge as ever for you, Diana. Beautiful work.

Only you could make a super painting out of buttons Diana. I wouldn't even have thought about doing this composition but you have painted this so well. I applaud you!

Wow, this is superb, Diana. Such an unusual subject.

What a lovely subject Diana and beautifully painted.

Just brilliant, Diana...that's thinking in and out of the box...lol!

'Brilliant'!! what more is there to say.

Oh thank you Nandhini. I was a bit unsure about this one and whether it would work. Thank you David. It would have been much less interesting head on or without the tubes showing Thank you Cesare. I am enjoying your watercolours even if I am unable to comment more often Thank you Margaret. I was in the shop looking at the buttons and had to send a photo o f some to my daughter when I thought they looked good as a large group Thank you Tessa and Ellen. The shopkeeper was a bit bewildered as to why I wanted a photograph. Thank you Helen. I’m not too imaginative with the actual painting as I tend to capture images that I like without changes Thank you Thalia. I was wondering whether to paint a very realistic one but went wild with the water at the perimeter Thank you Jennifer. I’m pleased that you like it

I cannot add to other comments well done as usual. Diana

Great detail and skill Diana.

Oh I love it, Diana. Such a nice idea.

Diana, you choose the most wonderful subject to paint, so original. This is wonderful and diverse.

Thank you Tao for being so supportive of me. Thank you Michael and Dennis. Much appreciated Thank you Shirley and Fiona. I did it fascinating to see subjects we all choose

Another interesting and very original subject, Diana, there can't be many shops left nowadays that display (or even sell) buttons like that! (Brings back memories of a Saturday job I had in the haberdashery department of a local department store - very handy as I used to do all my own dressmaking.)

Interesting subject Diana, I love it

You always take the most mundane subjects and turn them into brilliant works of art Diana. This is no exception.
