What a fabulous piece of work. The foil and reflections brilliantly painted.

Super watercolour, Diana. The shimmer and folds in the foil that you have captured are amazing.

Great painting- the foil is so well done and the fish has that shining colour.

Wonderful painting, the shimmer and wetness is so convincing. As I am a vegetarian, and a diver, bordering on being vegan, I can't bear to look too long!!! superb skill again, Diana. Brilliant painting.

Great job Diana. The foil is particularly brilliant

Stunning.

You've done it again Diana, produced a superb piece of work!!! Such skill.

Stunning painting as usual for you, Diana.

Oh my goodness......brilliant!

That's astounding Diana, you are a master of the unusual, love the slight reflection in the tinfoil, brilliant 😀

Such a great job Diana! I probably would have just eaten it and been left with the foil.

Thank you Linda I painted a few foil pictures in the past so quite fancied another one with a change of filling!! Hello Ibolya. Thank you. There’s no chance of me eating it!! I know that they’re very healthy foods but.... The cat was going berserk while I was taking the photos though. 😄 Hello Tao. Thank you. The fish monger was rather bemused at my request for a nice looking one to paint. Thank you Sandra and Dennis.... definitely!

Brilliant foil as usual, Diana, and lovely colours in the fish. (I'm always amazed at the size of your watercolours - do you use an easel?)

I don't know how you do it Diana, a stunner and that mackerel is so well painted.

Superb work Diana.

Love it Diana, I always like your 'foil' paintings.

You succeeded and more Diana!

Hello Jenny. I do have an easel but it can only hold the board verticall without tipping up. I usually rest the board on my legs against the table. I have s trolley with shelves to the right of me with water and paint on Thank you Alan and Linda. Your kind feedback means a lot

Thank you Carole and Fiona. I enjoyed a return to the jigsaw puzzle of crinkled foil.

15x22’’ watercolour on heavy, rough Saunders Waterford. I bought the mackerel with the intention of painting it I wanted to get the reflection of its eye in the foil.
