This really is impressive, Diana. Beautiful subject and very strong colour palette. I love the light in contrast with the darker parts.

Stunning as always, Diana, darks and light are wonderful.

It looks wonderful Diana, great contrasts and I love the hint of light on the wicker basket.

It looks even more fabulous now Diana, just wonderful.

Beautiful Diana, vibrant it certainly is.

Brilliant, the shaft of sunlight brings it to life Diana. Love all the flaky skins.

A brilliant onion festival. Yes Diana the more you move away from the screen the more stunning it looks.

Truly brilliant Diana! I dimmed the lights and there it was jumping out to me.. good to see your work as always Diana!

It is very beautiful Diana although I did like the bleached-out look at the bottom which added, for me, that sunlit look. Either version is fantastic!

Thank you everyone for taking time to leave your comments on this painting. It was thanks to your previous encouragement that I went on to complete it.

Which ever way you look at it Diana.....it’s brilliant!

So well done Diana.....fantastic!

It's brilliant Diana, and yet I did like the 'unfinished' quality of the previous one too.

This beautiful painting looks wonderful close up too! Great light well done Diana

Taking the time to comment on a painting is really appreciated, but twice on the same one so good of you. Again, many thanks

I think I commented previously, no change, still excellent

Thank you everyone who posted a comment since I replied last.

I love the composition and the play with light. Beautiful colour combination as well!
