Well you have certainly made up for lost time Diana. This is amazing. Just love that subtle hint of blue underneath the right pan and the reflections are wonderful. You’re still in the kitchen I see but your style seems to thrive in that atmosphere. You have every reason to feel pleased with yourself Diana because of your skill and talent.

You have so much talent and class Diana that you could make mud look magical. Just a case of choosing a subject. This is brilliant.

A fantastic depiction of a very difficult subject. Superb.

Fantastic skill you have Diana, that 'blue flame' is a master stroke.

Brilliant work as always Diana, the colours and reflections in the steel works so well and that blue flame is so real looking 😀

Wow look at those reflections...brilliant.

It's all been said already Diana, the reflections on the steel, the flame, exceptional work.

Really good as usual

I always admire your work as you introduce so much vibrant light into your paintings. Great.

Oh my Diana, those stainless steel saucepans are a winner and the blue gas underneath on the metal hob just the right amount of detail and colour. Plus I really like the introduction of the copper tones in the top rh corner and reflected in the pans.

You make the ordinary extraordinary.

Another great painting you can almost walk into the scene depicted in the rh pan.

It’s just about all been said Diana, but yes it’s a fab painting with great observation and reflections, so well handled. I saw your two lovely paintings at the Mall Galleries last Friday. Very well done for getting two in. It was a super exhibition.

What more can I say that everyone hasn’t already said, love this painting, the colours, the reflections and as Carole said, even the blue gas flame - beautiful

You are so good at the metal Diana.

Thank you Carole for such a lovely message. That was a joy to read. Thank you Jim ... now there’s a challenge😄. Thank you Lewis. I loved the colours in those reflections. Thank you Russell. I agree. The blue adds so much. Thank you Linda. I hadn’t consciously use the blue as a complimentary, it works with the sienna though. Thank you Sylvia. Reflections in watercolour are a wonderful mixture of hard and soft lines and I love the challenge. Thank you Val. It was one of those subjects that I felt really excited about. Thank you so much Paul. I appreciate it. Thanks Stephen. My tutor had really helped me to to be brave with colour strength. Thank you Heather. That was such a motivating comment and really appreciated.

Absolutely fantastic, amazing colours and the pan looks so metallic so cleverly done.

Amazing as always Diana! Your paintings are a cut above and an inspiration.

They are given a majestic quality Diana

Jealous? Me? Never! This is a really fabulous watercolour Diana!!

Terrific again, Diana you really bring the subject to life. Anything else left in your kitchen?

Probably had sprouts in it 😄😄 Thank you Louise. I often feel like that when I see other people’s work. Lovely comment to read. Thank you Willie. In answer to your question, yes, there is more 😄😄😄

Thank you Gudrun. I do love a reflective surface. Thanks Colette. The ordinary often looks extraordinary in the right light. Thanks John. Managed to finish it. Took three weeks but finding my motivation again. Thank you Tessa. I’m pleased that you enjoyed the Marine exhibition. I had to miss the Sunday Times and Society of Women Artists exhibitions due to ill health and really enjoyed a day out to the Marine one. Thank you very much Jenny. I’m delighted with the feedback and really value your kind comment. Thank you Dawn. I haven’t been around since the website re launch so have a lot of catching up to do.

I think that I actually turned a little green with envy..I often do when I see your lovely watercolours :)

Great, always recognise your style. Diana

This one is very amazing, Diana, and your skill get better and better. The reflections are superb and the composition too.

Louise, that’s such a generous thing to say. I get that feeling regularly when looking through the gallery. Thank you Maureen. I really love the idea of having my own style. Thank you Cesare. I’m glad you like it. I think the colours and mix of soft and hard lines are appealing.

Good to see that you have got back into your painting Diana. I find that I loose motivation from time to time and it’s sometimes difficult to get my mojo back. This looks great you paint metallic objects so well.
