Watercolour 20" x 16" I used quite a limited palette in this painting on Bockinford NOT paper. FU, Burnt U, Raw S, and Light Red. Here I have played orange against blue( French Ultra) in the foreground. Even though the colour is not there in reality, it helps to make the painting vibrant . The texture on the back of the large rock is done by dragging a damp brush over the dry wash.
