Good one David, great use of colour

Love the rainbow colours blending beautifully David.

The cottage stands out well against the colours - good work as always!

Excellent David.

Thank you Heather,Carole Anne and Chris for your comments.

Very different for you David. Thank you for revealing the process you used, which was most interesting. I love the bold colours and their beautiful harmony and the contrasting starkness of the white cottage.

Love your fresh take of the scene, and the luminous glowing washes. Nicely done, David!

A very successful doodle David and fun to try.

Watercolour 6" x 3 1/2" It`s sometimes interesting to try different things and to go off Piste. I used Saunders Rough and masked out the cottage and dry stone walls. This gave me free rein to flood in the washes. I did not wet the paper. I pre mixed all three colours and kept the paper flat. Sequence: Yellow first then red and finely blue. Merge the colours as you go. Colours: French Ultra, Cad Red and Cad Yellow. Its a matter of working out what colours you want and where........ enjoy the ride!!!!
