Absolutely beautiful

Very evocative painting carried with great skill.

This is so arresting David. I love the way the mist swirls around the mountains and the soft, warm, gentle, palette. A real beauty.

Great atmosphere David, I love how you have painted those mountains and clouds, brilliant!!

I agree with the other comments, David. This is absolutely amazing, perfectly executed and full of atmosphere!

Fabulous David!

Beautiful use of the medium .

Thank you everyone for your kind comments, it is always good to here from fellow Artists. Michael, yes it is Cnicht, Liz and I have walked and painted it many times and ran a painting weekend from there. You actually walk up the ridge i have shown and it gives you great views of Snowdon.

Excellent depiction of a beautiful vista.

Beautiful, the mist is particularly well done.

Very atmospheric painting. I love the hickly de pickledy wall in the foreground.

Yes Val , those are the lovely colourful stones/boulders found in Snowdonia

20" x 16" Watercolour. This lovely scene is a 20 minute walk from the village and i completed the painting after doing a watercolour sketch on site. Conveniently there are many rocks to sit on. You can often see sheep walking over the bridge adding to a super experience. Colours used: Sky- FU,Cad R, RS. Rest- All of above plus Lemon Y, LR Five colours in all. Greens- predominant colour first. Lemon yellow, FU and Light Red to subdue or darken the greens.
