You can see faint Aliz C has come out in the sky and both Aliz and Viridian has shown in the rocks.

Great use of these 3 simple colours, very eye-catching

Like this, especially the rocks - colour and texture - and the silhouetted birds.

I think it is fantastic in its simplicity, David. Love the design and the limited, rich colours you used. Great!

Love the stark simplicity and the silhouetted cormorants David.

Beautiful usage of Virdian and AC, never try it before, thanks for the inspiration, David.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments. Yes Kwok, enjoy playing around withe the mix, glad you are going to have a go.

A beautiful image, and interesting to see what colours you have used.

Watercolour, 7" x 9" I have only used three colours for this painting. Viridian, Aliz Crimson and Raw Sienna. Virdian + AC makes a really nice dark especially for sea scenes as you can mix either on the green side or red side. Its also a good mix for waterfalls. Try a dark thickish mix and while wet tease a wet brush to fade off and lovely colours emerge.
