`Washing` Lympstone, Devon
A quick 1 Hour sketch with just a 4B pencil. The occupants of the houses hang their washing on the washing lines on the shore. Often it is gathered in when the tide is in so boots are required. Our son was holidaying in the cottage with the unbrella. This image is from the quay which extends out into the estuary. The tide was out as a lady hung out her washing!!!
