This is magical Barry. I particularly like how you have washed out (?) some of the areas bottom left, give the feeling of mist rising off the water.

Thank you Val-Irene, not in your part of the world but in Bournemouth. I do often go to Dedham and when there have painted the east coast Stour many times.

by the look of the result , it was worth the misery of going out in the wet . Strong, limited palette , but very satisfying

Out for a walk yesterday so wet I could only take a photo. When back home used lots of artistic licence to produce this half imperial watercolour.
