Nice work here Barry, effective light!

This is superb Barry, the composition and your spontaneous painting.

You have caught the light brilliantly.

Another top notch piece Barry your plein air work is well developed and in the time since meeting Herman and Alvaro proves your expertise superb again

Many thanks to Guy, Alan, Jennifer and Dennis you are all so kind with your comments and I always look forward receiving them.

Beautiful palette, love the scene. Yes shame about traffic Barry but you overcame the problem very well

This one is a winner Barry!

Very nicely done Barry, the light on the main building invites the viewer into the painting.

Brilliant stuff, Barry. Love Plein air painting.

I repeat my previous reply to Carole, Karen, Stephen and Shirley it's just lovely to read all of your comments.

I agree with all the other commenters.

Loving your plein air townscapes Barry, there is no subject you do not excel in. I remember painting at Whithorn harbour once and a white van pulled up between myself and what I was painting......

Thank you Margaret and Fiona, the wonders of Plein air painting aye!!!

Super watercolour Barry. Love that dry brush work.

Thank you Louise, probably my signature brush mark.

Afternoon Plein air painting from yesterday in Bath with just a couple of amendments carried out in the studio. Lucky that the sun stayed out but a convoy of buses arrived and obliterated the right side view for the final stages good job I have a good memory. Painted on Arches 95lb rough quarter imperial.
