Andrew by Barry Hulme
Have have recently been inspired by the portraits of one of this sites subscribers Timothy Holmes. It has encouraged me to do more portraits get and so this is a new version of a portrait I did about three years ago. The subject was wonderful guy and painter called Andrew who had sadly just passed away. I chose this as a subject as I felt I could reflect some of his character which would show and in the work. I used Artisan watermixable oils on canvas. There you go Timothy said I would give it a go!!
