Sails at Sunrise - in progress

Really enjoyed myself with this sky and its sea reflections; it's still some way from being finished but would love your feedback on how I might improve it. Thank you to those who do! Love and God bless, Andy 😃❤️🙏

A very dramatic sky Andrew, brilliant tones used. I feel the painting would benefit from a possible reflection of the blue tones you’ve added in the sky. Otherwise great work … 😊❤️🐕‍🦺

Sunsets are notoriously difficult as I’m sure you know. It’s a great start, perhaps introduce more toned down background colours such as neutral warm greys etc - less of the vibrant reds, yellows and orange hues. I’m currently working on a feature for The Artist on this very subject, so I know how difficult it is to get the balance of colour and tone just right!

Spectacular Andrew but I’m inclined to agree with Alan as the more neutral colours would give greater emphasis to the vibrancy of the oranges, reds an yellows. Less is more but can’t wait to see the beautiful, end result. God bless Andrew 🌈🌈🌈🌈🌞🌞🌞🌞

Very vivid colours used here, Andy. The rising sun in all its glory looks beautiful. The red skies seem to be forecasting some bad weather in the offing. Would love to see more life, like birds setting off for their daily hunt for food. Perhaps even a couple of small craft too, going about their business. Otherwise another beautiful scene in the making🤗❤️🌹xxx
