My wife and I were enjoying this exquisite little island, pre-children, and came across this lovely waterfall the very first evening we were there. To capture it in an impressionist style I used sponges to paint it in watercolors, over the next two days, with other island visitors looking in through our cottage window as they passed to see how it was progressing! What do you think? Love and God bless 😃❤️🙏🕊

It captures the light on the water beautifully! An interesting way to paint with watercolour.

Beautiful painting and the sponge effect is excellent 👌

Thank you, Janet, for that lovely and specific feedback; sponge -painting was something I experimented with a lot with that year; it gives a lovely impressionist style; Love and God bless 🙂🙏❤

Thank you Stephen for your lovely, reflective feedback. Love and God bless 🙂🙏❤

Lovely effects Andrew , what a great spot.

Thank you, Heather, for that lovely feedback; and yes it was; definitely going back some time. Much love and God bless 🙂🙏❤x

Thank you, Coral for your lovely feedback. Love and God bless 🙂🙏❤

Thank you Spencer for your feedback. Although I paint many subjects water is still my first love. Love and God bless 🙂🙏❤

Now this is something completely different. Although you have painted many water scenes and waterfalls, this is utterly mesmerising. It's almost as though there is a dawn mist laying just above the water, giving it an almost mystical feeling. Beautiful, Andy. Well done🤗♥️🌹xxx

Thank you, dear Jacqueline, for your fabulous, thoughtful, feedback! Really appreciated. Much love and God bless, my friend 😃🕊🙏❤️xxx

A sponge-painted water cascade on the beautiful, almost un-peopled Scottish Island of Raasay, just off to the Isle of Skye, painted for my wife, Paula. What do you think? Love and God bless 😃❤️🙏🕊

I’ve always loved water, its movement, its colour, its power. I had the privilege of working as a hydrologist for nine years before ordination, necessarily but enjoyably observing the movement of water in full flow or even in floods. That was thirty years ago but my love for moving water has not…
