Wow, what a difference it has made. Really well balanced and that fur and face super which is where the attention should start.

Thank you, Heather, for that fabulous feedback. Yes by pushing back the general background whilst darkening the immediate surroundings, together with more work on her face and fur, she's really come out of the painting. Much love and God bless, my friend🙂❤️🙏🕊

A big thank you to all who gave feedback on the 'In Progress' version of the painting, which has helped bring Rosie to life, and the person commissioning this is over the moon over it! Much love and God bless all 🙂❤️🙏🕊

The finished painting is really lovely. I’m sure the person who commissioned the painting is delighted.

Thank you Spencer for that super feedback, and yes, she is ! Much love and God bless, my friend🙂🙏🕊

Thank you, Stephen for that feedback; Love and God bless, my friend 🙂🙏🕊

Stunningly beautiful, Andy. The toning down of the background and the larger pot, has added an extra dimension to the painting. The dog now leaps out to welcome you, almost as though she is going to lick you. With just the buds on the top plant and not flowers, allows my eyes to rest on the dog and not be distracted by the background. A beautiful portrait Andy, and I'm sure the recipient will be over the moon with it. Very well done, Andy.👏👏🤗♥️🌹xxx

Thank you, dear Jacqueline, for that very fabulous and well-observed feedback; Much love and God bless, my friend 🙂❤️🙏🕊xxx

White animals are very difficult to paint but you have added more definition and this has emphasised the softness of the fur. A much improved image Andrew. I’m sure your friend will be delighted with the result. Look forward to more animal art from you. God bless Andrew 🌈🌈🌈🌞🌞🌞

Thank you, dear Carole, for that fabulous, constructive and encouraging feedback; and yes, its whiteness made it challenging; there's another dog portrait commission in the pipeline for next month. Much ove and God bless, my friend 🙂❤️🙏🕊xx

The completed painting is beautiful. She has such a friendly face and her fur looks really fluffy. I like the composition set in the garden too!

This is my first-ever attempt at painting a pure breed Samoye; with that amazing fur it's quite a challenge but fabulous too. What do you think? Much love and God bless 🙂❤️🙏🕊

I’ve always loved water, its movement, its colour, its power. I had the privilege of working as a hydrologist for nine years before ordination, necessarily but enjoyably observing the movement of water in full flow or even in floods. That was thirty years ago but my love for moving water has not…
