Stunningly beautiful, Andy. The toning down of the background and the larger pot, has added an extra dimension to the painting. The dog now leaps out to welcome you, almost as though she is going to lick you. With just the buds on the top plant and not flowers, allows my eyes to rest on the dog and not be distracted by the background. White animals are very difficult to paint but you have added more definition and this has emphasised the softness of the fur. A much improved image Andrew. I’m sure your friend will be delighted with the result. Look forward to more animal art from you. God bless Andrew 🌈🌈🌈🌞🌞🌞
