Biography

From the age of 12years I’ve been fascinated by the diverse range of painting mediums. Working with oils was my first experience , then over the years also developed a love for most painting mediums. The inspiration for my art comes from everyday life, especially the flora of the landscape. Living in the heart of Shropshire subjects are abundant giving me the opportunity to explore my interests. In my career I was involved for 35years with Sugar craft reproducing flowers and foliage which for me was a natural progression to painting in watercolour which is my favourite medium..
