A master class in sketching. One of your best. I like the addition of birds, I always like to see signs of life in landscapes…just personal preference of course.

Always bear in mind that lack of comments is not necessarily the same thing as lack of interest; but one can run out of things to say that haven't already been said. Plus, I'm getting the impression that the Gallery and site generally are less visited in the Summer; as people disport themselves outside. And there's a considerable rate of churn on the Gallery pages - things pop up, then pop orff again... Anyway: this is good, of course, and the idea of keeping all these sketches to perhaps incorporate in future paintings is a sound plan, which makes it important to keep those books readily to hand and consult them often.

Super use of tones Alan. Don’t be disheartened Al, life can be full and busy this time of year as Robert mentioned……there aren’t enough hours in the day sometimes…..which is my excuse. 😂

I dont think it's lack of interest in your work which is always incredible Alan. It's less artists visiting sites these days for whatever reason.
