Another good one, Alan!!

Few lines creating a great sketch, surprising how the every day quite mundane things can inspire and make a good drawing or painting.

I think these subjects are overlooked Alan, the architecture and engineering of the structures are wonderful things to behold……as is your sketch.

Great sketch Alan and I do strongly agree with Fiona.

Thanks guys, I’ve obviously posted too many canal scenes judging by the lack of interest, so I’ll take a break from posting for a while!

Always good Alan.

Give it time for people to see the work before you despair of lack of interest, Alan! I've only seen this today. It is a bit of a quiet time on POL generally - highs and lows, ebbs and flows, etc. I'm always interested in your canal scenes, and in any others come to that.

Keep these lovely sketches coming Alan, they are really good

Love the subject and the sketch Alan.

Another really good sketch, I like the shadows.

Continuing my mini series on canal architecture, all local to me. There were some interesting shadows being cast under the bridge, most inspiring and worthy of a painting possibly! Strathmore toned grey sketchbook, Rotring Ticky 0.2 pen with grey marker pen.
