Pen and ink sketch in a Stillman & Birn A4 Delta sketchbook. Rotring Ticky 0.2 profipen and a Tombow pen with a light wash of Payne’s grey watercolour for the shadows. I’ve painted and drawn this particular aspect many times, both plein air and in the studio!
