I see the resemblance to Piper’s work Alan, your last posting also reminded me of his paintings of Renishaw Hall, I’m familiar with the grounds and your painting is an excellent piece.

An enigmatic work of art, Alan. I particularly like the blue-green of the background trees.

This definitely has a Gothic feel to it Alan. The blue/greens against the red/browns give it that extra gothic feel.
