Another smasher Alan, your use of colour has absolutely enhanced this very good sketch and the use of white is so strategically placed

Like this very much.

This is beautiful Alan.

A bit different to your usual work Alan however it’s a superb piece, agree with Heather regarding the colour etc.

I see the resemblance to Piper’s work Alan, your last posting also reminded me of his paintings of Renishaw Hall, I’m familiar with the grounds and your painting is an excellent piece.

I l8ke the addition of the colour Alan.

Beautiful work, love it !!

Even better than I thought it would be from your initial sketch ... and you've got the Piper feel.

Beautiful Alan.

An enigmatic work of art, Alan. I particularly like the blue-green of the background trees.

This definitely has a Gothic feel to it Alan. The blue/greens against the red/browns give it that extra gothic feel.

Mixed media on A3 Canson grey paper. I’ve based this on a Piper lithograph but with my own input. I have visited the hall and gardens and it’s inspirational, certainly John Piper found it to be.
