Superb palette Alan, I love especially how you've portrayed the distant town, plain and horizon.

Wow Alan, what a view, like your colour choice, creates the atmosphere.

I especially like the light catching the distant hills.

Fantastic vista Alan. In Spain at the moment but not too much time for painting just now. Love the way you handle the distant buildings and the ocean. Superb.

Absolutely gorgeous Alan, terrific palette and composition. Are you still in Spain? Weather there unusual I hear from my friends there, as it is here in Malta. Thunder storms in mid May!!! Unheard of!!!

Thanks everyone for your comments, always appreciated. No Thalia, I've been back a few weeks. Carole, get those paints out! Enjoy some plein air painting.

As you say a wonderful vista and although you say it was overcast you have created a lovely feeling of light Alan as usual great work.

Beautiful Alan especially your palette.

Interesting work as always Alan.

Very attractive to look at Alan, you're a master at capturing that sense of "looking down".

Knew whose this was the moment I saw it!

What a view, Alan! Such a warm and relaxing scene. I can feel the warmth and hear the sea in this! I think I need a holiday!!!!!

Superbly atmospheric painting Alan

Fabulous vista which was well worth recording. No contrasting shadows unfortunately, as it was all a bit overcast, but still an interesting composition to capture. Oil on panel 30 x 40cm.
