Sounds and looks lovely Alan. I like the contrast of the trees on both left and right, and the little chap with his dog which adds that little extra.

The finished oil painting from one of my two WIP postings last week, completed in two sessions. It’s a view from my lane and worked up from sketch book scribbles made at the scene. That’s the River Trent in the middle distance, and I often walk across to that river bend to sketch or paint. There’s a convenient old willow stump that makes a great seat! Oil on Talens canvas board 40 x 50cm.
