Beautifully done Alan, your sketched trees are always magnificent and the washes of colour perfectly placed.

Very good Alan

Marvellous Alan! You make it look so easy.

Another quality sketch Alan

Great sketch Alan.

Interesting variety of marks.

I hope you'll leave your sketchbooks to someone who will really appreciate them, because I can see them forming an exhibition all of their own - I echo the sentiments others have expressed, especially George Cutter's (who knows a thing or two about drawing and painting).

Thanks guys… yes Robert, I’d like to publish a book at some stage… better make it sooner than later!

Keep them coming Alan, a delight as always, and an inspiration too.

Your painting is perfection Alan - I’m looking forward to seeing your book.

Fabulous sketch again and i to look forward to seeing this book, have been to Oxford on a course for work absolutely wonderful architecture and would love to go back as there was so much to take in! Well done Alan!🙏👌

I have been thinking for quite some time that your wonderful collection of sketches needs to be preserved. A lot have historical as well as artistic value. I think a book would be a great idea, it will need to be able to be added to in some way to incorporate future sketches?
