I love these kind of prints, and marvelous piece of work, Alan.

Happy days and what an exceptional piece of work Alan

Super effect Alan. I especially like the blowing in the wind look of your trees on the right hand side. I’m never quite sure how etching works: must look it up sometime!

There's a lovely feeling to an etching, especially re the sepia like colour.

Looks wild and a great picture. Lovely lines too.

I love this type of print, Alan, this captures that windy atmosphere so well. (Looks familiar, have we seen it before?)

Thanks everyone, simple stuff but it all counts. Yes Jenny, you may have done. This is from a bundle of reject prints that I found in a portfolio the other day, for some reason I had kept them.

How lovely Alan, I'm not sure how this works exactly but it looks quite tricky. A super piece!

Such an effective piece...awe inspiring, Alan

Lovely windswept landscape. Great atmosphere .

I’m going to be studying your etchings Alan, see if I can pick up any pointers. It a fabulous medium that you do so well.

Wow, great moody atmosphere, really appeals to me Alan.

Great stuff Alan and I wouldn’t have a clue how to go about doing one , maybe someday

Lovely work Alan, reminds me a little of Von Gogh's reed pen work.

Alan, how did you get the really dark areas here, front bottom left?

8.25 x 12in printed on Fabriano Rosaspina, image size 5 x 9.25in. Drypoint etching, which can be made into an edition of possibly 25 or so, depending how deeply incised the plate is. Pulled on my own press using Akua Intaglio printing inks. This one is a reject, a bit smeary in places and a few of the delicate lines are not clear enough - It does happen ocassionally.
