So full of life and enthusiasm Alan.

Glad you enjoyed it Alan wonderful piece

I know you said you were going to throw some paint at a canvas this morning Alan, but my goodness you've got a fabulous aim! Very apt too as it's the summer solstice, Barry docks could look exactly like this, this evening.

Thank you Louise, Dennis and Fiona, It was a bit of a rush job this morning and looking at it again I will probably re-work it tomorrow, there&#39;s quite a few areas that I can improve. Probably quicker to start a new canvas, we&#39;ll see.<br />Just looking in the wardrobe to try and find my Druid&#39;s outfit.

Love your dynamic strokes Alan.

Thank you all, but this painting is no more, I&#39;ve done a total revamp this morning, I like it better. It probably still looks like Dante&#39;s Inferno but will post it later for your comments, good or bad (hopefully).

To me and I get confused with lots of these arty f*t* terms, but this is not semi abstract, but is certainly a very good impressionist piece

Superb work, Alan. I really like the balance of warm and cool hues, the very vibrant brushwork and the highlights in all the right places.

Oil on canvas 24 x 30''. My artistic impression of Barry Docks, reference some old sketches I made. My self-imposed challenge this morning was to paint a semi-abstract work but ended up with an impressionistic piece, still, I enjoyed doing it.
