This morning's quick oil sketch. 12 x 20in on canvas board. Sunsets are notoriously difficult as many of us know, they can look so unnatural, not to mention the word chocolate box. This is based very loosley on a photo courtesy once again of Dawn. Although it was a full-blown sunset I have subdued it and introduced shades of blue in the upper part of the sky.
