Lovely painting, my daughter lives in Hastings and we visit Rye quite a lot. Its not changed much from your sketch book.

Oil on canvas board 25 x 60mm. I've been looking through some old sketch books and found a stack of small watercolours and drawings from Hastings, (my Mother lived nearby so I was a frequent visitor). This one is based loosly on Rye Harbour which is nearby - my very loose and rapid impression with little detail.
