Nicely painted piece not overworked, also the format suits the subject so well . A winner Alan all the way

Oh I love that beam of light Alan, gorgeous!

Lovely work Alan, like the broken reflection of the sun in the sea.

Love the softness of the colour palette Alan

Lovely colours and love the light reflected in the sea. Really like these wide format paintings.

A little gem, Dennis, wonderful palette and beautiful reflections in water and great sky.

Really lovely work Alan.

Fabulous, Alan. I simply love that wonderful, varied brushwork, which creates such movement and atmosphere. Love the palette too.

You know exactly where and how to apply those all important finishing touches Alan. I really like this palette.

Saw this up on the banner Alan. As Fiona says you put all those little dabs in the right places. That little spot of red there adding punch and depth. The colours used give a good sense of the locations atmosphere.

Art today for example we can represent it in graphic design, a modern form, but certainly the abstraction is as old as humanity and is the one that best represents and surprises until today. I want to recommend my favorite artists Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Frida Kahlo, Roberto Matta Gabino amaya cacho and Pablo Picasso.

Oil on Board 10 x 24in. A studio painting this time worked from small watercolour sketches done on location some years ago. A slight revamp of one I posted a while back.
