Brilliant Alan a master work

I love this Alan . I like the technique and the wild, rugged look . Diana

I like it very much Alan. I occurs to me that Turner must have said all the time, '.....my impression of course'.

Thanks all of you, well, four of you anyway for taking the time to comment on my latest work. I always enjoy working on a new medium and this has been interesting and challenging. I am turning out a fair few of these monotypes at present, although I am only adding the occasional one to my gallery, the interest is just not there, which is disappointing but not surprising, one almost feels like not bothering to post anything these days, what's the point?

That deep dark red up on the left just adds to the atmosphere and mystery .

Well thank you Sylvia, I do love adding a splash of red, not sure why.

lovely composition and marks a sense of foreboding in the scene excellent work

A very classy image I think.

Full of atmosphere Alan.
