This is a very attractive painting Alan, I like how you have used the warmer colours in the landscape as well as the sky. Certainly a different take on Seago but a great result.

Love this subject, and again you have chosen to focus on the tree whereas I would go for the windmill. The colour choice is spot on and invokes a feeling that you are sitting at your easel whilst painting it.

Acrylic on Fabriano 300lb NOT watercolour paper. I painted this a few month's back but I think it was inspired by a small watercolour by Edward Seago. The sky is probably a bit too dramatic but I always push the boundaries.
