Looking good Alan, great use of colour, very atmospheric.

Like the look of this already Alan . Looks like a misty morning scene.

I like the way you have started this Alan. Looking forward to seeing the finished painting.

Super start, using the tried and trusted ebauche methods! so evocative already, Alan

I really like this a lot, as has been said so full of atmosphere, just my like of painting. Love it!!👌🙏

So atmospheric!!

Captured so well Alan

I don’t know what AFC is but I do love the way this is progressing

Thanks for your input guys… Diana, it’s ACF Canvases, I’m testing out some samples.

This is stunningly unusual Alan. I love the ghostly, mystery of the overall impression.

I’m working from my watercolour sketch that I posted a few days ago. First session in oils on a ACF stretched box canvas 16x20in (40x50cm). Impressionistic, as is often my preferred approach, atmosphere taking priority over any accuracy - a few boats on the river will add interest and a focal point. The oils are moving nicely over this synthetic surface, more about this later.
