Such a lively sky reflecting movement in the water, with the added touches of shimmering, brings your painting alive. Love how you’ve minimised detail on the left to give emphasise on the light and space of the water and sky. A cracker Alan.

Excellent Alan you have expertly guided my eye from the foreshore along the harbour wall and into the sparkle of the water and distant hills and with a sky to match. A lovely painting.

Another coastal scene from a compilation of sketch book scribbles and imagination. My main focus is on the sky again, but I’ve given a bit of thought and time to the other parts of the painting also. Sky/cloud structure once again reference my plein air sky studies. (last in my current 'big skies' series, I need to move on!) Oil on board 40 x 50cm.
