Enchanting painting Martin. Love the sunlit path and your use of darks and lights.

Superb , and a great memory to share with your granddaughter when she is older .

Love this - the sunlight and beautiful range of greens.

A lovely shady tunnel of trees leading somewhere interesting. I like the way you've handled the light filtering through onto the path.

Great use of colour Martin and well painted.

What a lovely story and a lovely painting too.

Love the darker shadow in the foreground, it gives good depth to the whole painting

What a lovely memory Martin - and a really lovely painting with those splashes of light.

An endearing story and beautifully painted!

A lovely memory and a cracking painting Martin.

Fabulous memory and painting.

Outstanding Martin, superb sparkle with the light coming through. Powerful greens as well.

Very good Martin.

Delighted to receive your generous comments as always. I agree it will be a lovely memory to share with her in the future

Wonderful sense of light . A brilliant and beautiful work

I'm speechless. It's beauty.

Thanks very much Michael and Lynne

We smile at the memory each time we pass the point. I finally went back to sketch it two years later. Watercolour on Arches cp 14x10”
