I am taking my sketchbooks and paints to Devon but with 4 grandchildren accompanying me, doing anything is going to be a challenge. However, I will try hard as I would love to come home with a few sketches done to remind me of what I am sure will be a happy week.

I love this, Thea! It's a quintessential Cornwall scene, but infused with your inimitable style. I really like how you created the line of vision all the way from the buoys in the foreground to the boats and up the cliff with the ladder, and tying all the parts together with your gorgeous, jewel-like washes. It's fabulous!

You seem to have acquired a new name on POL! I assume it isn&#39;t intended as some kind of pseudonym!<br /><br />By the way, I love this painting of yours - didn&#39;t notice it at the time.
