Such an adorable face, Thea. My only grandchild is a ten month old boy, and I am babysitting him all the time. Thinking of painting him, but do not have the foggiest idea how to start.

I like the technique used in all your portraits, Thea. The style used throughout pulls them all together as a series. I particularly like the way you capture the expressions of laughter, (or sulks!), in the eyes.as well as the mouth.

Another portrait of my little granddaughter, Tabitha. She often gives you such a solemn and considering look which is wonderful to try and capture in a painting. She's growing up fast now and her face is changing all the time, so I am trying to paint little snapshots of what she was like at the various ages. Watercolour on Langton Prestige 140lbs.
