He looks very jolly to me Thea. Best wishes for a wonderful Christmas and a happy painting new year.

Gorgeous Santa! Have a lovely Christmas Thea and Happy New Year 2017!

Wow, your blind one liners are so good, everything in just the right place. Mine end up with the eyes at the top of the head and the mouth underneath the ear. Not a pretty sight, not like this fine fellow who looks almost like the real thing. All the best for Christmas and 2017 Thea.

Excellent one liner Thea. Merry Christmas to yo and your family.

Lovely to see your art again Thea! Best wishes to you and yours for a Happy Christmas and peace and joy in 2017. Welcome back! xx

Thank you so much Peter and Gudrun - have a wonderful hristmas.

Hi Sharon, when I first started doing blind one liners, mine all ended up looking like weird aliens! However, I have found that with practice you get better and better - surprisingly so in actual fact. It is almost like one's brain learns to work in synch with you drawing hand. When I did the first one liners over a year a go I never expected to progress past the odd and dodgy drawings stage, so I have been very surprised how much I like and favour this style of drawing now.

Smashing Santa Thea. Love his red nose (too much Christmas cheer perhaps!) and red/blue colours merging on his hat. The blind oneline technique makes for super loose drawing and just works for you. Hope you have a good time and happy new year. Best wishes from me x

A beauty Thea Merry Christmas

Thank you Louise and Dennis - I agree Santa does look as though he has had one tipple too many, but then it is Christmas! Happy Christmas to you both and thank you for all your comments.

Could it possibly be Santa I wonder :) Seasons Greetings to you Thea.

Think you have guesseed right, Val, lol! Have a very happy Christmas.

My last blind one liner of 2016. No prizes for guessing who this might be. I used a photo of a Santa in a grotto in a department store and I think he had had a tough day as he looks a bit grumpy to me. Probably all those kids asking for huge and expensive presents and the parents looking daggers at him in case he says he promises they will get them!
