I agree, Satu - a huge gob like that would take some filling! Thank you for your comment. I am enjoying searching out unusual animals to paint.

This brute doesn't exactly look like a hippo which is why I like him so much. He's almost an abstract hippo and fairly jumps out of the gallery with that whopping mouth and teeth. He's full of character, life and terrifying fun! So much more fun to look at than a perfectly painted animal. Your colours as always are super. A joy to look at. He is unique!
