super painting, Thalia. The beached boat looks all at sea. *smile* I like the rigging and deck colour and hope the old girl isn't doomed. Those windows stare from a menacing gloom. Striking light on a beautiful Mediterranean Sea. Brian

It has a great harmonious colouring and would be very welcome on my wall. It reminds me of Turner. I seem to remind alot of artists of Turner myself. I do sometimes find this abit annoying since Turner is not someone i greatly revere; certainly not as much as Velazquez for instance. Anyway your picture is superb!

We get the most amazing light effects here in Gozo. This started life as simply a burst of light over the sea. Then I remembered a picture of a beached boat an American diving friend had sent me, and suddenly there it was. I feel that the result makes a more interesting picture.
