Great sense of perspective and distance Thalia. Takes the viewer down into the valley and then up again to the distant village. Great colours and lovely impressionist work.

It's the colours in this piece that really appeal to me especially the rich orange red.

I started this after a recent plein air session where I had a lot of paint left over. Mostly out of my head, an imagined scene looking up towards a church and village on the skyline. I continued with it yesterday as it had dried enough to work on again. Worked predominantly with palette knives, enjoying the thick paint!
