Many thanks all. The farm and adjacent nature reserve are supposed to be left fallow for a while to make sure no disease etc lurking there, then to be reopened with beef cattle. Timescale I was told could be a few months to a year or so in which case nature will have taken over!

So impressive, Tessa for such a small painting - it certainly has that fresh, sunny, feel to it.

A very impressive oil painting Tessa. Nice brush work and palette. I’ve got two oil on the go at the moment, both are similar to this regarding a collection of farm buildings and the high horizon… Mine don’t have a blue sky though!
