This is lovely, spot on colours for the Highlands !

Great knife work Tessa and I particularly like your palette - it's very evocative.

However you painted it, you’ve created a fine piece. I’ve never tried palette knives, great result here. Good luck with your exhibition.

Yiu have captured the ruggedness of the Highlands in the excellent piece Tessa.

Super palette and the marks made with the knives are fresh and crisp

Great picture Tessa , excellent knife work.

Great use of knife Tessa and so very textural with a wonderful sense of place.

This is super Tessa, what a lovely spot

Great example of painting knife work Tessa. You have made an excellent painting.

Thank you all very much- great encouragement much appreciated! 🙏

Terrific work with the knifeTessa

Lovely feel to this, Tessa

Yes this is lovely Tessa, very fresh feel. I’m sure that texture looks great tto when seen “ in the flesh”.

Thanks so much Chris, Thalia and Marjorie. Yes Marjorie, I’m quite pleased with the texture effect. The problem with knives is that it’s difficult to work any detail into the painting but I like the impasto look.

I’ve been enjoying the use of knife rather than brushes, though I have used a little brush work in this.
