Sugarcraft lustre is a basically a powder paint normally used in sugarcraft (sculptures/cake decorations made of sugar paste) & decorating cakes. I used to paint family celebration cakes instead of piping, which I could never master. Stopped baking cakes years ago, but kept my cake paints.

so it makes your paintings sticky? or does it change when used in artwork? i love new ideas :-)

No, it's a powder. It can be brushed on dry (best slightly onto damp surface), flicked dry into wet (e.g. a wash) or mixed with water or any fluid medium, depending on the effect you're aiming for. For cake-painting I used to mix it with clear alcohol!

Postcard art. Media: Inktense pencil, fibre-tip pen & sugarcraft lustre. This is a submission for a local postcard art charity auction/exhibition. Didn't really have any bright ideas, so decided to experiment & have fun. Since I live by the sea, then a fish seemed a good idea!
