This has worked very well Sharon, it has an ethereal quality about it. Very clever how you have achieved that glow to the dancer's outline.

Wonderful movement Sharon. I really like the swirling pastel shades in her dress. The pinky red light is magical.

Beautiful transitions Sharon

beautiful painting

Lovely swirl to that dress Sharon.

Thankyou all for your comments, really appreciate you taking the time. I recently discovered Opera Rose, a bit of a "bling" colour, but which when mixed with oranges or reds produces some almost fluorescent tones. Some interesting experiments.

Beautiful painting sharon

Wonderful soft colours and wonderful washes, Sharon.

This is stunning, Sharon -beautiful composition, superb transition of washes and full of dramatic impact.

Superb light and movement - a wonderful watercolour Sharon

I love the warm light in your painting and of course the movement

Lovely movement, great composition and beautiful, gentle colours. Well done Sharon!

Great to read all your kind comments, many thanks for looking. Been too distracted with other matters recently, but such nice reactions give me the confidence to press on with my painting.

I guess your distractions have caused the mysterious figure in the back ground. This is a smashing work.

A dark mysterious stranger ? No such luck Derek, more like the grim Reaper

A stunning painting, Sharon with a beautiful luminous quality.

The way the dancer is cropped is beautiful, it creates such good shapes on the left hand side of the painting. The whole thing works well Sharon.

Wow, so very lovely colour. The glow on the hair and shoulder is magnificient. Great composition.

Many thanks Derek, Chandra, George and Georgiana - lovely to receive such positive comments from people whose work I admire.

Enchanting, Sharon.

This is maybe one of my favourites a,though I like all of them.

Great composition and good feeling of movement! Love it Sharon!
