Oh ladies, thank you so much for your encouraging comments, really appreciated. Why is it, I wonder, that when you throw caution to the wind and let spontaneity take over, the results give so much more satisfaction than when you spend hours, maybe days, slaving over a painting ?

This was inspired by the rose bush at my back door. When at night the security light reacts to movement, the rose seems to glow in the dark, as if the light was coming from within. Watercolour on Hahnemuehle Andalucia 500gsm rough 30x40cm
