Another good one Satu! Is this the portrait season? I'm busy working on an oil portrait of my grand daughter, from a poor photo. It's more an exercise in skin tones but when the person is familiar, it's harder because it has to look like them!

Very good portrait Satu. The light on her face is just right. Like your signature here as well. It sounds silly but they have to be right first time don't they ( when in watercolour) and I sometimes find that the hardest part! :)

Thank you ever so much Louise, Gudrun, Dennis and Ivan for your lovely comments! Yes, you're right Louise with the signature, I always leave it until I have to varnish the painting but now I had to do it with the same colour which is domident in the painting and fortunately it came out ok.
