Love those vibrant blended blues and green, the bird in flight and the suggestion of branches, it all works beautifully Satu. Painter's block is so frustrating is't it, but I think you're through it!

I love the colours (especially the yellow bit on the right) and movement, Satu. I guess you know the famous painting on a goldfinch - which is much more static than yours. Have you read the book Goldfinch by Donna Tart?

Hi satu well done for over coming your pointers block. I get it as well but the best thing is just paint anyway sometimes you get a surprise and as you have turn out a very nice piece of work.

I think I've got it at the moment - must have - well my wife called me a 'block head' yesterday. Just doing my first for quite a while - hope it turns out as good as this.

I also didn't paint for a few weeks, so I know the feeling, Satu. This is a real beauty, love the bright colour scheme. I wish you the best to get painting again.
