Biography

Lucky enough to be based in Dorset I have lovely countryside all around me from the New Forest to the rolling downs of north west Dorset and beyond. Add to that it’s just a few short minutes to the sea and you understand why I feel so privileged. Like so many I enjoyed drawing and painting as a child and continued to O & A level and then gave it all up to build a career in management. 10 years ago, with the children grown up, I started all over again and found that my love for art had never gone just been put on the back burner. Although this is really only a hobby it’s a pretty obsessive one and I’ve managed to be included in exhibitions both locally and nationally. I try most mediums but my favourites are acrylics and watercolours and my favourite subjects are portraits and landscapes although I always like to challenge myself with different subjects and mediums as it helps keep me fresh. Finally I would like to say that I do sell my paintings and also do commissions and I am contactable via this website. Thanks to everyone who’s taken the time to read this.
