This is lovely Robert. I can see the Naples Yellow. I think it is a very underestimate colour. Beautiful on it's own but also adds another level of softness when mixed with other colours.

Thank you all. I should add that I was very impressed by the ACF canvas, finding the weave of cotton duck sometimes a bit much (though of course, smoother canvases are available). The Cass Arts paints are good - the Naples Yellow doesn't contain Zinc, to start with, as nearly all other Naples Yellows (apart from the real lead-based paint, now fiendishly expensive) do. The Rublev paints - well, you just have to try them for yourselves.

Oil on stretched canvas, 14" x 10". This was my first experience with ACF canvases - a terylene product - and with Cass Arts own brand oil, and Rublev oil. Naples Yellow, Ultramarine Blue red shade, Nicosia green earth, Yellow Ochre, Cadmium Yellow, Mars Orange or Burnt Sienna, and Flake White (NT). Those are the colours I can remember!
