Wet and Wintry by Robert Jones, Napa

Well, the playing has paid off Robert, I like it. Yes, I've made mistakes too (although it doesn't show in this painting) with that dratted Prussian Blue.

I think it's lovely! Love the composition - I like tangly paths.

A brave man… it’s deadly but when it’s used right, it can give a painting that bit of a lift, and this has that extra bit of impact!

It’s really good Robert , I’ve made the mistake of thinking I can do a painting in Prussian blue that will look good, no it wasn’t and no were near as good as this is .

This is awesome Robert, I love it.

You have captured the wild, wintry image so well Robert. It certainly sends shivers through the body.

I certainly don’t think you’ve over used the Prussian blue and I rather like the effect. I’m also sure you do know what wet and windy is like on the IOW! Satisfying painting Robert.

Very good, it has a timeless quality.

Great movement and texture Robert.

Super vibrant and movement Robert, caught my eye with this.

All looks a bit blue to me. I like a bit of warmth in the foreground to draw me in. But that is my personal choice. Lots of energy in it though!

Well done Robert, I like the composition very much and the Prussian Blue seems to work well in this.

Love the different colours and tangly shapes, obviously you've beaten Prussian blue into submission!

Which, when I painted it, it was: lots of trouble with uploading images though (Microsoft issues, not POL) so this little 8" by 10" didn't get posted when painted. Played with Prussian Blue: not sure I'll be doing THAT again.
