The eye zig zags through to the house and then the hill beyond - nice composition. Successful green challenge I think!

For a hurried effort, it looks pretty special to me. Nothing like hurrying a piece.!!!

Interesting to see an Acrylic version of this challenge Robert, it works well, love the red roof!

Oh, well done Robert, true to your word, you did it and with great success!! Interesting for us to see an acrylic version and the depth of darks obtained from the two colours. I like the lively, 'hurried' effect in this one.

Very impressive, Robert.

Wonderful attempt - well, it is more than an attempt as it is a great painting in it's own right. Well done for setting the challenge in the first place as we have had a lot of fun with it.

Any suggestions for a new challenge, Robert?

Here's my effort, in Hookers Green (ran out of Viridian) and Alizarin Crimson acrylic, plus a bit of white because acrylic really doesn't behave like watercolour, especially on this rather nasty paper. I suspect the chimney pot's a bit wonky, but it was something of a hurried effort.
